The Fast & Furious franchise has been around for so long that it's difficult to find a corner of pop culture it hasn't somehow collided with. What started as a movie about street racing has expanded into video games, toys, theme-park attractions, and crossovers with everything from Fortnite to Rocket League. At this point, it might feel like there isn't a crossover left that could surprise you.

That's where you'd be wrong.

The latest Fast & Furious release is a crossover with Lego and How to Train Your Dragon. Yes, Fast & Furious, Lego, and dragons are now part of the same story.

It's called Lego Dreamzzz: How to Fast Train Your Furious Dragon, and the animated special is now available to watch on Peacock.

How Fast & Furious got mixed up with dragons

As the extremely long title suggests, this isn't exactly a straightforward Fast & Furious adventure. The special brings together characters and elements from Lego Dreamzzz, How to Train Your Dragon, and Fast & Furious for a story involving dream worlds, dragons, and very fast cars.

The setup sees the Lego Dreamzzz characters enter a world where the Fast & Furious and How to Train Your Dragon universes have collided. Hiccup and Toothless are caught up in the chaos, while the Dreamzzz crew has to help deal with the Nightmare King, who has turned the dragons of Berk against them.

Naturally, there's only one reasonable solution: put the dragons and the cars together.

The special was developed as a collaboration between Lego, Universal Products & Experiences, and the teams behind the respective franchises. It runs for roughly 40 minutes, making it more of a bite-sized animated adventure than a new Fast & Furious movie.

We're not entirely sure who this movie is for, but we're pretty sure it'll be one hell of an adventure.
